Helsingor, Denmark to Bremen, Germany.

23 May 2008: BY LAND & BY SEA.

Long drive (300mi) to Bremmen, Germany. Moving scenery viewed from the car window & a ferry boat trip from Denmark to Germany. I’ve got a debit card that the my bank is blocking for some reason. I called them prior to this trip to tell them I’ll be using it in Europe. I’ve got a back-up card that works, but I’m concerned that if this one & only card does not work, I’ll run out of funds fast.

It seems a high % of the Danish speak English quite well. I can’t say that much for the Germans. Oh well I only speak English (a few words of German & Italian). It adds to the adventure!
