Kilmainham Goal, Dublin.
Built by the Brisitsh in 1796 as the Dublin County jail.
In the early 20th Century it was used to confine Irish political prisoners. In particular those who participated in the 1916 "Easter Uprising".
Most of whom were later hanged here.
